The Institute for General Practice and Palliative Care (IGPPC) at Hannover Medical School offers to support refugee researchers (doctoral candidates, postdocs) from Ukraine in applying together with the IGPPC for a grant/funding programme and to integrate them into the local research team in Hannover. It may be possible to link researchers to existing research projects. Fluency in English and/or German is required (oral and written). Experience in health services research is an advantage.

The IGPPC is characterised by an interdisciplinary team including physicians from the disciplines of general medicine, internal medicine, palliative medicine, geriatrics and anaesthesiology, as well as researchers from psychology, sociology, anthropology, health, nursing and social sciences. The institute holds a network of 250 academic teaching practices for research and educational activities for medical students.
