Research Focus

The group utilizes methods from statistical mechanics, bioinformatics and chemoinformatics to investigate molecular processes of protein signaling and pathogenic processes that take place in human disease. The group has a strong focus on the development of novel methods in the field of enhanced sampling Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations with applications in protein modeling and protein folding. Recent developments utilize artificial intelligence (AI) methods for the optimization of antibody-antigen interactions for the neutralization of viruses at an early stage of infection.
