Opening hours during the Easter holidays

The library is closed during the Easter holidays, Friday 15th April to Monday 18th April 2022 .

The library team wishes everyone Happy Easter!

New Ebooks from Elsevier

The library licensed some e-book packages from Elsevier for 2022. In addition to two packages on the topics of Advance Science & Technology and Perpetual Health Sciences, we offer access to the Elsevier German Medical Collection in 2022 again. A total of 4908 e-books from Elsevier are now available.

Publication Fund

For 2022 a DFG-sponsered publication-fund is available for the publication in Open-Access-Jounals. You can find further information about the requirements for the funds here

Access to JoVE and webop

The two video-based databases JoVE and webop are now available to you.

JoVE provides video-recorded experiments from the life sciences with instructions and methods for carrying out the experiments as PDF, with an accessible audio track and in numerous languages.

There are two modules at webop: general and visceral surgery and vascular surgery. Operative interventions are broken down into important steps and presented in video sequences, text and illustration.

At the start of the semester

There are a few tips for starting your studies on our blog and information for new and experienced students on our website.

Keys for the library lockers can now be borrowed.

We wish all students a good (re) start at the MHH as well as (further) a successful and enjoyable time here!

Longer Opening Hours

September, 09, 2021

From Friday, October 1st, 2021, the library will be open again until 10 p.m. We have had a new reading room concept since reopening in May 2020. The use of the study places is possible for members of the MHH under certain conditions. With many minor adjustments, we are keeping our services as good as possible for all users during the corona pandemic.

Access to the UpToDate database is no longer enabled for the MHH campus network.
