New Ebooks from Elsevier
The library licensed some e-book packages from Elsevier for 2022. In addition to two packages on the topics of Advance Science & Technology and Perpetual Health Sciences, we offer access to the Elsevier German Medical Collection in 2022 again. A total of 4908 e-books from Elsevier are now available.

Access to JoVE and webop

The two video-based databases JoVE and webop are now available to you.
JoVE provides video-recorded experiments from the life sciences with instructions and methods for carrying out the experiments as PDF, with an accessible audio track and in numerous languages.
There are two modules at webop: general and visceral surgery and vascular surgery. Operative interventions are broken down into important steps and presented in video sequences, text and illustration.

Longer Opening Hours

From Friday, October 1st, 2021, the library will be open again until 10 p.m. We have had a new reading room concept since reopening in May 2020. The use of the study places is possible for members of the MHH under certain conditions. With many minor adjustments, we are keeping our services as good as possible for all users during the corona pandemic.
