Methods and implementations of open access publications
Open access journals are scientific journals that are freely accessible on the Internet according to the principles of open access. The electronic publication of research results without access restrictions makes scientific information more visible. The positive consequence is that they are quoted more often. The majority of the open access publishers carry out a peer review of the submitted articles.
In practice, three different publication channels have been established for implementing Open Access.
