Research Focus

Inflammatory airway disease such as asthma, COPD, fibrosis or lung infection are investigated using preclinical animal models (mouse, rat, hamster, monkey) and by using ex vivo models like precision cut lung sclices (PCLS) in different species including human. In this models we test new strategies for prophylaxis and therapy.
