The Hanover Medical School (MHH) covers the entire spectrum of medical treatment of a large maximum care hospital. We employ more than 10.000 people, 1.164 of them in medical service and about 1.929 in nursing service.
The clinic with its focus on pediatric pneumology and neonatology forms the Center for Pediatrics together with the clinics for nephrology, gastrology and neurology, hematooncology and cardiology. A main focus of the Medical School is transplantation medicine with the adjacent subjects of immunology which is recognized worldwide. Besides the Perinatal Center Level 1, one of the largest cystic fibrosis centers in Germany is part of our department. Further focal points are immunology and rheumatology. The interdisciplinary Allergy Center of the Hannover Medical School is closely associated with our clinic.
Clinical trainees are very welcome on all our wards and in the various other areas of our clinic. Please contact the secretary's office of Prof. Hansen for exact arrangements.
Those interested in a doctoral thesis can contact the heads of the individual research groups directly. Doctoral theses in the Pediatric Clinic can also be carried out within the framework of a structured program within the Hannover University of Applied Sciences Excellence Initiative via the Hannover Biomedical Research School (HBRS). A written application to the HBRS office is required.
Unfortunately, we currently have no offers for doctoral theses.
Student assistants are always being sought in various areas of the clinic and research. Please check our website regularly or submit an application to the secretary's office of Prof. Hansen.
Unsolicited applications are appriciated! Please send them in writing to the clinic director Prof. Hansen or to the respective research group leader.
