Hannover Unified Biobank - HUB

Prof. Dr. Thomas Illig, Direktor of the Hannover Unified Biobank (HUB)

Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Thomas Illig, the HUB, as the central biobank of the MHH, collects, processes and stores high-quality biological samples for medical research.

 

On this website, you will find up-to-date information about HUB biobanking and the HUB collections that are of interest to you as researchers, patients, test subjects and MHH employees.

 

The HUB has been accredited according to DIN EN ISO 20387:2020 (certificate / appendix) since October 2024. The QMS of the MHH, including the HUB, is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. The biobank was awarded the Quality Label by BBMRI-ERIC in 2024.
