Structured Quality Report of the MHH

 

In accordance with Section 136b (1) sentence 1 no. 3 of the German Social Code, Book V (SGB V), MHH is required to prepare and publish a structured quality report on an annual basis. To this end, the legislator has tasked the Joint Federal Committee (G-BA) with establishing regulations for the preparation, transmission, and publication of the quality report, as well as its content, scope, and data format.

 

Objectives:

  • Improvement of transparency and quality of care in hospitals, Information, guidance, and decision-making assistance for all interested parties, e.g., patients and service providers, especially in the run-up to hospital treatment
  • Creation of a basis for comparative information and recommendations from the associations of statutory health insurance physicians and health insurance funds to contract physicians and insured persons regarding the quality of hospital care
  • Opportunity for a hospital to present its services in a transparent and visible manner to the outside world in terms of type, number, and quality

Structural and performance data for MHH at all

Chapter B:
Main areas of care and medical services offered by the clinical departments, information on the most common main diagnoses (ICD) and procedures (OPS), and information on outpatient treatment options
