Patient advocate:in

Since the beginning of 2016, voluntary and independentpatient advocates have been required by law for hospitals in Lower Saxony.

As honorary and independent contact persons, the patient advocates advocate for the questions, concerns and needs of patients and their relatives.

At the MHH, Barbara Bostelmann and Prof. Dr. Bernd Haubitz have been appointed to this office by the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony.

They are at your side in everyday hospital life, listen to you and support you with requests, complaints or suggestions. In the event of problems on the wards, the patient advocates can act as mediators.

The patient advocates can be contacted in person in building K 05, level 01, room 0190 (above the inpatient admission).

Consultation hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 12 noon.
