Research & Teaching

Research and teaching is an important part of our clinic and is closely linked to clinical work. A large number of working groups conduct both basic scientific and clinical research. Clinical Department employees are involved in various research networks and collaborations.

Clinical studies give us the opportunity to test new treatment methods and form the basis for the broad establishment of new therapies.

The transfer of existing knowledge and new findings as part of student training is an important concern for us.

Working groups

Our basic science and clinical research groups consist of international teams, are involved in many research networks and cooperate with various partners worldwide.
