Our clinic is responsible for the surgical treatment of pre- and fullterm neonates, as well as children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. As the only independent, university based department of pediatric surgery in Lower Saxony, we have established many subpecializations and connections, in order to provide our patients with the best possible medical treatment.

Our philosophy:

•   Your child is not an anonynomous case for us. For our treatment plan, we take the whole family into consideration.
•   Patients of our department are treated within highest national and international guidelines.
•   Our clinic is connected worldwide,  utilizing the knowledge of others for your child.
•   The treatment of your child includes a follow-up plan up to the transition into adult life. 
•   Especially for children, duration of hospitalization should be kept short, which is why we rely on FAST-TRACK- principles
