Library for patients and university members
On the one hand, the library provides MHH patients with light and non-fiction literature during their stay in hospital and, on the other hand, offers university members the opportunity to obtain leisure literature close to their place of work. The staff of the volunteer hospital aides “Ehrenamtliche Krankenhaushilfe (EKH)” offer a weekly lending service for patients who are unable to walk on many wards. If required (after prior telephone request) a pick-up and drop-off service visits the floors.

Do I need the HOBSY card to borrow books?
The HOBSY card is not required, the borrowing process is realised via the room number for patients and via the Multicard for staff.

Can I donate books to the library?
We gladly accept donations - however, we refrain from accepting books that are more than three years old.
