1. What is a discovery system and how does it differ from a library catalog?

A discovery system is a library search platform that makes a wide range of information from one or more collections searchable.

In other words, a discovery system is the modern version of a library catalog.

2. Is the library catalog being shut down now?

No, the traditional catalog will remain in place, at least for the time being. 

3. How do I access my library account in MaedCat?

Simply via MaedCat access. You can access your account at the top of the bar.

The Discovery system is still in the beta stage.
