This specialist cardio outpatient clinic is primarily for patients before, during and after potentially cardiotoxic chemotherapy or after radiation to the chest. Using modern diagnostic methods, heart damage can be detected before symptoms occur.

In addition, we are a point of contact for patients with an increased cardiovascular risk (e.g. diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure) or a pre-existing cardiological disease in order to optimize therapy before initiating oncological therapy.

Last but not least, we see patients with cardiac involvement in tumor diseases (metastases) or primary tumors of the heart and plan the best possible therapy in collaboration with the other specialist departments.

The renal and pancreatic outpatient clinic treats patients with advanced kidney disease for whom transplantation is the only treatment option. The outpatient clinic staff evaluate whether and with what status a patient is listed for an organ (kidney or kidney/pancreas).

The interdisciplinary outpatient team looks after patients during the waiting period, in preparation for the operation and after the transplant. During aftercare, the outpatient team also takes care of all illnesses associated with the transplant.
