Department of Dermatology and Allergy

Welcome to the Department of Dermatology and Allergy

Professor Thomas Werfel, MD

On our website we would like to provide you with an orientation to our patient care, the day clinic and in the inpatient area of our clinic, to research, to student training and to further training in dermatology.

In the two upper sections you will find practical information on how to contact us in our consultation hours ("outpatient area"), in the day clinic and on the wards.

In the other sections you will learn more about the areas of the clinic. Our diagnostic and therapeutic range includes modern procedures from the entire field of conservative and surgical dermatology, which are used for a wide spectrum of allergic, inflammatory, immunodermatological or malignant diseases of the skin.

As a university hospital, we feel obliged to provide the best possible training for the next generation of physicians in their studies and in their further training in dermatology. In research, we conduct scientific studies on clinically relevant topics in our field. In the experimental as well as in the clinical field we work on current questions concerning severe chronic-inflammatory skin diseases, allergology and dermatological oncology.

Of course, a website cannot replace personal contacts.
My team and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
