The changes in the hospital landscape and the increasing specialization of care centers are leading to an increasing number of intensive care transports. The treatment standards and the seamless continuation of intensive care therapy place high demands on the accompanying medical staff. The German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI) has published a curriculum for the qualification of personnel in order to optimally prepare emergency physicians and rescue specialists for the challenges of intensive care transport. This forms the basis of our courses, in which we prepare participants for intensive care transport with a high practical component.
