This is what our members say about the Family Health Research Network:
"The two most important things I appreciate about the research association are that
- it is a platform for collegial exchange for a variety of professional groups (from managing directors to chief physicians, department heads, reservations, etc.). It is about "learning from others", exchanging tips, ideas and suggestions, but also about coordination in a wide range of areas (dealing with patients, trends, care rate negotiations)
- conducting scientific research in order to improve the quality of our work, but also to prove the effectiveness and thus the raison d'être of our work."
- Oliver Kettner, Managing Director of COR Therapeutikum WestFehmarn GmbH & Co.
"We became a member of the Family Health Research Association because we are convinced of the necessity and great effectiveness of our services in supporting family health. We know that it is important to prove this effectiveness again and again and to further develop our services on a scientific basis. The Family Health Research Network makes an important contribution to this, which is worth supporting."
- Benjamin Nickelsen, Chairman of the Board of the German Working Group for Family Support e.V.
"We hope that the future of the research association will continue to provide us with guidance on the development of the prevention and rehabilitation market for people with parenting and care responsibilities in order to further develop our services in line with the times. The following topics are of particular interest to us:
- Effectiveness studies and bases for argumentation: what measurable effects do inpatient preventive care and rehabilitation measures have on our patients? How do they benefit from a stay in hospital?
- Increasing importance of aftercare: The DRV finances structured concepts to consolidate the success of therapy in the patient's home environment. Will this also be relevant for patients with statutory health insurance in the future? How do we organize aftercare in order to be able to offer our patients a refinanced therapy concept in inpatient preventive care in the future?
- Telemedicine/digitalization of everyday hospital life: What services are already available today and which are in development? How can Clinical Departments benefit from this? What legal hurdles and data protection aspects need to be considered? What will tomorrow's clinical routine look like under the influence of increasing digitalization and declining personnel resources?
- Political developments: What legal changes and requirements will have an impact on inpatient care and rehabilitation? How do we prepare for this in good time?
- Therapeutic requirements: The framework recommendations under the IPREG remain vague in terms of therapy density for adults and children. How do we organize our use of resources efficiently, i.e. effectively and at the same time economically? What is the effectiveness of individual and group therapies?
These research questions can only be addressed in a strong research network and side by side with other providers. By bringing together different organizations and with the scientific support of the research association, we want to anticipate the future and position ourselves solidly for the next decade."
- Andreas Frank, Managing Director of AWO aktiv & gesund GmbH
