Participating prevention and rehabilitation clinics
Members of the research association are Facilities or Institutions that carry out inpatient preventive or rehabilitation measures for mothers, fathers and children in accordance with §§24 and 41 SGB V or preventive measures for nursing relatives in accordance with §23. Facilities or Institutions are run by charitable organizations (Müttergenesungswerk) as well as independent private providers. In addition to active membership, it is also possible to join the research association as a supporting member.
Cooperation between the research team and the Clinical Departments takes the form of expert meetings, visits to the facilities and telephone consultations. The expert meetings take place three times a year in Hanover and last two to three days each time. They are supplemented every six weeks by telephone or video conferences on current topics. During the expert meetings, conceptual and therapeutic content as well as quality assurance procedures and research topics are developed and communicated. Research findings are also discussed here and prepared for practical implementation in the Clinical Departments.
Cooperation between the research team and the sponsors takes place at sponsor conferences, which are scheduled to take place twice a year in Hanover. Research and quality assurance projects are discussed and agreed here and the research team reports on the progress of ongoing projects. In addition, telephone and video conferences are currently held at close intervals to discuss current special topics in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
