Leukemia Research

Our laboratory is interested in translational research of acute myeloid leukemia and associated diseases of the bone marrow spanning from discovery of oncogenes and establishment of mouse models to drug discovery. Our research is driven by the urgent need for better treatments of AML patients. With a wide range of technologies we aim to better understand the process of leukemogenesis and to identify specific Achilles heels of leukemic cells that may be targeted by specific inhibitors. Many collaborations exist with other laboratories and we are open for new collaborations.
