Student Assistants Wanted (m/f/d)

We are looking for motivated student assistants who are interested in participating in basic research on neurological and neurodegenerative diseases alongside their studies. As part of our research team, you will support ongoing research projects focusing on the analysis of nerve cells in both 2D cell cultures and 3D tissue complexes.

Start date: as soon as possible (from April 2026)
Working hours: 20 hours per month
Employment: Student assistant (Hiwi) according to university regulations

 

Your tasks:

  • Support for ongoing basic research projects
  • Training in state-of-the-art microscopy and imaging techniques
  • Analysis of neuronal cells in 2D cultures and 3D tissue models
  • Documentation and evaluation of experimental data

Your profile:

  • Enrolled student in biology, medicine, biomedicine, neuroscience or related fields
  • Interest in neuroscience and neurodegenerative diseases
  • Careful and reliable working style
  • Previous laboratory experience is an advantage but not required
