QM-FAM Reha 5.0 - Internal quality management
The Family Health Research Network combines practical research with the further development of therapeutic concepts and the development and evaluation of quality management measures in the participating Clinical Departments. Since 2006, a DIN EN ISO-based internal quality management (IQM) procedure has been developed specifically for the rehabilitation sector - QM-FAM Reha 4.0. Maternity, mother-child, mother/father-child and children's rehabilitation clinics can be certified according to this procedure, which is recognized by the BAR, and the majority of clinics have done so.
The current version of the sample quality manual 5.0 has been adapted to the new DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Although the new DIN ISO no longer requires a quality manual, the clinics in the research association have decided to retain the quality manual as a tried and tested tool.
Adaptation to other indication areas is possible. Further information can be obtained from the scientific director of the research association, Ms. Claudia Kirsch.
