Experience in predicting immune responses and immunogenic epitopes, as well as in identifying new target structures for immune-based therapies for infections, would be desirable. We also expect solid experience in integrating immunological and other data sets using artificial intelligence. A particular future focus will be on the development of advanced prediction models for immune responses and the detection of infection susceptibility.
A strengthening of collaborative scientific research is expected, with particular emphasis on the three recognised research priorities at MHH (infection/immunity, transplantation/regeneration, biomedical engineering/implants). Opportunities for participation are also available in the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4all, the German Centres for Health Research (DZIF and DZL), and the Comprehensive Cancer Centre (CCC) Lower Saxony.
A particular commitment to teaching students is required, including in interdisciplinary courses in the MHH graduate course in human medicine "HannibaL", in the dentistry degree programme and in MHH's bioscience degree programmes. Innovative teaching approaches and additional didactic qualifications are explicitly welcome.
