Agnes Krause studied Human Medicine at Hannover Medical School from 2000 to 2003 and at the University of Würzburg from 2003 to 2007. She completed her doctorate at the Clinical Department of Psychiatry in Würzburg.

Agnes Krause completed her training as a specialist in anaesthesiology from 2007 to 2013 in the Clinical Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at Hannover Medical School and worked as a specialist and most recently as a deputy senior physician, primarily in the acute pain service and the pain outpatient clinic at Hannover Medical School.

In 2019, she began further training in general medicine in a GP practice in Hanover, which she completed from December 2021 at the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine, primarily in the Central Emergency Room. She has been working as a specialist in general medicine since March 2023.

Ms Krause holds additional qualifications in Emergency Medicine, Palliative Medicine, Special Pain Therapy and Manual Medicine.
