Franziska Grimm has been at the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine since April 2024 and is currently working on a project to evaluate the teaching program "Interprofessional Collaboration in Palliative Care". Previously, she worked on the VePoKaP project (Care of patients with post-COVID: analysis of health insurance data and the perspectives of patients, relatives and GPs).

In 2007, Franziska Grimm completed her training as a nurse at Hannover Medical School and in 2009 she completed a Bachelor's degree in Nursing at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts (specializing in patient and family counseling). Until 2020, Franziska Grimm worked in various areas of the MHH: in the Clinical Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, Transplantation and Vascular Surgery (HTTG) and in Nursing Science. Most recently, she worked as a nursing consultant and quality management officer in a healthcare start-up.
