Kristine Engeleit

Kristine Engeleit has been working at the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine since 2019. She is primarily responsible for patient care in the emergency department and outpatient clinics. She also works in teaching and is currently involved in counseling post-Covid patients as part of the "ViCoReK" project.

After completing her training as a nurse, she worked in intensive care at the university hospitals in Cologne and Mannheim. She completed her medical studies at the University of Heidelberg and Hannover Medical School. She completed her specialist training as a general practitioner at Klinikum Region Hannover in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and in a rural medical practice in Winsen/Aller. Kristine Engeleit has been working as a GP in Hanover since 2011.

Kristine Engeleit has been a member of the Advisory Committee for Employed Physicians of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians of Lower Saxony (KVN) since 2020 and has been Deputy Chairwoman since 2023. She is also a member of the Association of General Practitioners of Lower Saxony and the German Society for Acupuncture and Neural Therapy.

Kristine Engeleit has an additional qualification in palliative medicine.
