Pia Wollenberg studied Human Medicine at Kiel University from 2010 to 2017. She completed the first three years of her residency training at Celle General Hospital in the Clinical Departments of Internal Medicine. She then worked for two years in a general medical practice in Hanover. In May 2023, she successfully completed her further training as a specialist in general medicine.

Pia Wollenberg has been working as a physician at Hannover Medical School since August 2023. After working for a year on the palliative care ward, she has been working in patient care and teaching at the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine since August 2024.
