Svenja Arendt has been employed at the Institute of General Medicine and Palliative Medicine since April 2024 and works as a research associate in the project "Adaptation of drug therapy during hot seasons (ADAPT-HEAT)".

Svenja Arendt completed her Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen in 2023. Her Master's thesis focused on the affordability of a healthy and sustainable diet in Germany. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Ecotrophology in Giessen from 2016 to 2020. In her bachelor's thesis, she explored the potential of edible insects as a sustainable source of protein.
