Tanja Schleef has been at the Institute of General Medicine and Palliative Medicine since 2009. She works as a research associate in the Gut-Leben and AGREE projects on health care planning at the end of life in nursing homes and in integration assistance and carries out the accompanying evaluation of general medical patient care in the Central Emergency Room of the MHH as well as other projects in the field of emergency care.
After training as a medical-technical radiology assistant at Ingolstadt Hospital, she worked at the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Nuremberg South Hospital until 2001. From 2001 to 2007, Tanja Schleef studied medical education at the Charité, Humboldt University in Berlin. Parallel to her studies, she taught at the vocational school for radiology assistants at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and supported the MeVis team at the University of Bremen as a research MTRA. In 2012, she completed the Master of Public Health program at the Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences with a focus on health promotion and prevention.
