Association for the Promotion of the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine at Hannover Medical School e.V.
In the fall of 2021, we founded our association to contribute to the promotion of care in general medicine and palliative care in a variety of ways.
Purpose and tasks of the association
The purpose of the association is to promote public health for the benefit of patients in general practice, hospice and palliative care and to promote cooperation between the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine and general practices and hospice and palliative care facilities or Institutions. A further purpose is the promotion of science, research and teaching in the field of general medicine and palliative care.
The statutory purposes are realized, among other things, by raising funds for the Hannover Medical School (Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine). In order to fulfill the statutory purposes, the association can also become active itself, e.g. in the context of the implementation of further and advanced training for employees, events with the aim of educating the public about general medical and palliative care topics or by initiating new projects.
