Tasks of the biology laboratory technician
Biology laboratory technician is a nationally regulated, recognized training occupation in accordance with the Vocational Training Act (BBiG). The field of work includes the preparation and examination of animals, plants, microorganisms and cell cultures. Experimental procedures are observed, controlled, recorded and evaluated. Biology laboratory technicians work mainly in medical and biological research, applied medicine and public health.
The ZTL also offers a 3 1/2-year training program with a widewith a broad spectrum of training contentoffered.
Application to the company requires one year of vocational school, which counts towards the training period.
