This training offers the opportunity to specialize in one of five fields: Archive, library, information and documentation, picture agency or medical documentation.

Media and information services specialists acquire and procure media, record and index information and data, secure media stocks, information carriers and data, research databases, provide information, advice and support to customers and help to present their Facilities or Institutions to the outside world, for example by participating in user surveys.

The MHH library has been offering this training since 2004; two apprenticeships are available. The apprenticeship lasts three years.

School requirements:

At least a good secondary school leaving certificate or comparable qualification
