Oncology
The Surgery Center offers a comprehensive and interdisciplinary range of surgical and non-surgical treatment methods.
Our certified Clinical Departments offer all patients intensive oncological care by experienced medical colleagues from the various departments.
The latest minimally invasive surgical techniques, possibly with computer assistance, are used as an important alternative to "open surgery".
Organ preservation for malignant tumors is a special service offered by the Clinical Department within the MHH Oncology Center.
We pool interdisciplinary specialist knowledge and have the expertise to diagnose the type of tumor disease and initiate the necessary therapy by involving the key players.
Tumor conference
Patients' findings are evaluated in a joint tumor conference.
With the help of defined standards and based on current guidelines, this committee of experts then develops a customized therapy for each patient.
The Departments of the Surgery Center are an integral part of these interdisciplinary tumor conferences.
