The group of soft tissue sarcomas includes numerous rare but malignant tumors that can develop in fatty tissue, muscles or peripheral nerve sheaths.

Depending on their extent, extensive surgical procedures are often necessary to radically remove these tumors. Our tumour center specializes in such procedures, particularly with regard to maximum functional preservation. Numerous plastic surgery procedures are available for radical surgical removal with simultaneous preservation or restoration of function.

In the event of an impending amputation, it is therefore essential to consult a specialized sarcoma center.
