Implants have been a safe and proven treatment option for replacing missing teeth in our clinic for decades. Careful planning and treatment are essential prerequisites for the excellent long-term prognosis of implant restorations. Regular follow-up checks are also particularly important in order to be able to recognize and treat any incipient inflammation of the soft tissue surrounding the implant. Early treatment can prevent the inflammation (peri-implantitis) from progressing so that the implants can remain functional for a lifetime.
