A Voluntary Year in Science (FWJ) can take place in the fields of biomedical materials science, cell biology, microbiology, stem cell research or bioinformatic data analysis. Under the guidance of scientists, projects are worked on that are part of the research program of the Clinical Department of Dental Prosthetics and Biomedical Materials. This provides valuable insights into research activities and teaches scientific working methods, which can make it easier to enter university.
It is possible to work in the dental laboratory of the Clinical Department of Dental Prosthetics and Biomedical Materials as part of the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) or the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ). The tasks include work in the dental laboratory as well as organizational activities as part of the pre-clinical courses in dental medicine studies.
Applications can be made online at the Voluntary Services Office.
