Further training to become a specialist psychotherapist

The Clinical Department of Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy at Hannover Medical School offers five years of further training to become a specialist psychotherapist in the field of "adult" psychotherapy in the psychotherapy method "behavioral therapy" in the care areas "inpatient", "outpatient" and "institutional" and the further training area "adult behavioral therapy".

Further training to become a specialist in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy

The Clinical Department of Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy at Hannover Medical School offers further training to become a specialist in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. In our Clinical Department, which has full authorization for further training (48 months) in both behavioural therapy and psychodynamic/depth psychology, the entire breadth of the specialist field can be taught as part of further training. In principle, it is possible to complete the somatic counter-subject at Hannover Medical School.

Training as a psychological psychotherapist:
Practical Training 1 (PT1)
Our Clinical Department cooperates with the Institute for Behavioral Therapy and Behavioral Medicine (AVVM) of the Clinical Department of Psychiatry, Social- and Psychological Therapy of the MHH. Within this framework, Practical Training 1 (PT1) can be completed in the Clinical Department of Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy.
