The clinical focus of our team is on the treatment of children and adolescents with malignant diseases and all other blood disorders. This includes all childhood and adolescent leukemias and lymphomas as well as all solid tumors. Children and adolescents with benign blood disorders are also treated in our Clinical Department, including children and adolescents with coagulation disorders, diseases of the erythrocytes, thrombocytes, granulocytes and lymphocytes.
We treat our patients according to the latest recommendations and studies of the Society for Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. We are the only center in Lower Saxony that offers hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for children and adolescents. It is particularly important to us to treat children and young people well, not only medically but also on a human level. Thanks to the Verein für krebskranke Kinder Hannover e.V., we have a wide range of services for children and their families, with the aim of making their difficult time with us a little easier.
