Specialist training
The Clinical Department of Psychiatry, Social- and Psychological Therapy offers all further training content for specialist further training in accordance with the current further training regulations of the Lower Saxony Medical Association (ÄKN) as part of the four-year further training period. The costs for the balint group and self-awareness training are covered by the Clinical Department.
All areas of clinical psychiatry are familiarized with intensively through regular rotations. Inpatient and inter-ward supervision for psychotherapy and psychopharmacotherapy takes place weekly. The theory-based parts of the training are taught in a practice-oriented manner and supplemented by further and advanced training from renowned external speakers.
Through the psychotherapeutic training institutes for behavioral therapy and depth psychology belonging to the Clinical Department, an individual focus can be set in the recognized psychotherapeutic procedures.
