Many people understandably shy away from the idea of making a will - after all, it always involves coming to terms with one's own transience. However, a will is also an opportunity to shape the future and give joy. Without a will, intestate succession applies, which takes into account the testator's relatives and spouse in a very specific order. You may find that the statutory provisions take all your wishes into account and that you don't need a will at all. This can be a reassuring feeling. However, if you want to provide for your unmarried partner, remember a dear friend or continue your commitment to a charitable organization, then you should make appropriate arrangements and put your last will on paper.

By the way: every inheritance is subject to tax. The higher the asset value and the lower the degree of kinship, the higher the tax rate. Charitable organizations are generally exempt from inheritance tax. If you are considering including the Förderstiftung MHH plus in your will, simply give us a call and we will be happy to advise you.
