Dear Mr or Ms,
Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to the 22nd HepNet Symposium. Look forward to a diverse and practical program featuring current topics spanning the entire spectrum of hepatology.

The session “Cholestatic Liver Diseases” begins with a presentation on new developments in primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) and primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). This will be followed by a panel discussion highlighting clinical case studies from real-world practice.

Our Special Lectures will address innovations and challenges in hepatology. Topics include new indications and new organs for liver transplantation, as well as the burden of liver disease in Germany.

The presentations in the “Liver Tumors” session cover the most important news from recent conferences and the histological immune classification of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). An interdisciplinary tumor board will then discuss complex case studies.

On Saturday, “Liver Diseases from AIH to Cirrhosis” will be addressed. Topics of the presentations include therapies for end-stage liver disease, new developments in rare liver diseases, portal hypertension without cirrhosis, and updates from the “ERN RARE-LIVER” (European Reference Network for Rare Liver Diseases). The panel discussion will focus on drug-induced liver injury (DILI) and autoimmune hepatitis (AIH).

New findings and data on viral hepatitis and steatotic liver diseases are the topics of the lectures and the panel discussion in the following session.

Take advantage of this opportunity for continuing education, collegial exchange, and discussion of current developments in hepatology. We look forward to welcoming you in Hanover. Register here.
