Dear Ms Colleagues!
Once again this year, we would like to cordially invite you to our
annual continuing education course on Current Endocrinology on September 2, 2026
. In response to your numerous requests, we will
be holding our joint event entirely
virtually again this year.
Most of the exciting new data and new medications,
whether administered subcutaneously or orally, currently come from
the field of obesity medicine. We are therefore particularly pleased that Mr.
, Prof. Dr. med. M., is involved. Blüher, Professor of Clinical Obesity Research
at the University of Leipzig, Senior Physician in the Clinical Department of Endocrinology and Nephrology
at Leipzig University Hospital
, and Director of the Helmholtz Institute for Metabolism, Obesity
, and Vascular Research (HI-MAG), has kindly agreed
to provide us with an overview of standards and current developments
here.
Using several case studies from our outpatient clinic, Ms.
, functional senior physician in Endocrinology at our
Clinical Department, will present practical, guideline-based treatment options
for hypoparathyroidism following the break. Following that
, Mr. Dr. med. M. Wöckener, an internist in our Clinical Department, will discuss the diagnosis
and treatment of a patient with sweating and tremors.
All of these cases are very instructive for us—and certainly for you as well!
Finally, Mr. Dr. H. Leitolf and Mr. Dr. C. Terkamp from our
Clinical Department will report on the practically relevant highlights
from the two major European and American endocrinology
congresses, ECE and ENDO.
We would therefore be delighted to welcome you once again this year
to our practice-oriented, traditional continuing education program, which will be held virtually
on your screen!
Best regards,
Your
Dr. med. A. König
Dr. med. H. Leitolf
Dr. med. C. Terkamp
Prof. Dr. med. H. Wedemeyer
Open to anyone interested.
