(with musical performance)
Speakers:
Prof. Dr. André Lee

Dr. Johanna Doll-Lee

Making music is one of the most demanding tasks our brain performs: It uniquely combines thinking, feeling, and movement. This lecture, accompanied by musical performances, explores the measurable, mostly positive effects of music on the brain, cognition, and life satisfaction—but also addresses the rare condition of musician’s dystonia as an example of an unintended maladaptation
of the brain.
Open to anyone interested.
