Event Description
Dear Colleagues,
Dear Sir or Madam,
We are pleased to invite you to our first-ever “Nephrology Year in Review.”
We anticipate numerous new developments at the major international conferences: the WCN in Yokohama, the ERA/EDTA in Glasgow, and the ASN in Colorado. Our experts in the respective fields will summarize and evaluate these developments for you.
We are currently witnessing rapid and significant advances in the treatment of kidney diseases.
The focus will therefore be on the central topics in nephrology: chronic kidney disease (CKD) and slowing disease progression, acute kidney injury (AKI), hypertension, glomerulonephritis, vasculitis, and systemic diseases involving the kidneys. We will examine these topics from both a pathophysiological and clinical perspective and present them to you.
Naturally, another key focus will be on modern forms of renal replacement therapy. This includes current developments in dialysis, advances in kidney transplantation, and clinically relevant aspects of specialized extracorporeal procedures such as immunoadsorption and plasmapheresis.
This event offers you the opportunity to exchange ideas with our experts, discuss the latest scientific findings, and gain practical insights for your daily clinical practice.
We very much look forward to your participation and to a stimulating professional exchange.
Best regards,
Prof. Dr. Kai Schmidt-Ott
Prof. Dr. Bernhard Schmidt
Open to physicians, medical staff, researchers, and scientists.
