"Kein Land für Niemand - Abschottung eines Einwanderungslandes [...] takes viewers on a startling journey. The documentary begins at Europe's external borders, where an ongoing humanitarian catastrophe meets state ignorance, but also civil commitment. It follows a rescue mission in the Mediterranean, documents the catastrophic situation from the air and tells the stories of survivors who have found their way to Germany despite violence and deadly risks."
When: 05.02.2026, 6 pm - free of charge (donations are requested)
Where: MHH, Lecture Hall M (Building J 01 - Level 01 - Room 1140)
The film will be followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Thorben Dieck, Sea Eye Hannover e.V. and MediNetz Hannover e.V..
Dr. Thorben Dieck is senior physician of the burns ward at the MHH. He provided medical care during a rescue mission in the Mediterranean. We are looking forward to an evening full of discussions and questions.
