Dear Colleagues,
We cordially invite you to our continuing education event organized by the Association for Continuing Education in Gastroenterology (
) at Hannover Medical School.
Together with renowned experts,
we would like to present current developments and clinically relevant insights
in the field of gastrointestinal tumors.
You can look forward to a varied program featuring exciting
presentations and valuable insights for everyday clinical practice:
Cystic pancreatic tumors often pose a challenge in clinical practice
—should they be monitored further or treated surgically?
Prof. Dr. Thomas Wirth will address this question.
Next, PD Dr. Linda Feldbrügge will provide an update on new
evidence and strategies in oncological visceral surgery
2026.
An interesting clinical case from the Hannover Medical School
, presented by Ms. Dr. Melanie Bathon, offers an
opportunity to discuss diagnostic and therapeutic challenges
together. Following a break with the opportunity
to visit the virtual industry exhibition, we are very pleased
that we were able to secure Dr. Robert Hüneburg as an external speaker—
he is a recognized expert in the important
field of hereditary gastrointestinal tumors. PD Dr. Anna Saborowski will conclude the technical portion of the event
with a
current overview of precision oncology for gastrointestinal
tumors, before Prof. Dr. Wedemeyer and Prof. Dr. Schmelzle round out the
event with a summary and an outlook
.
We are very pleased to welcome you to this continuing education event and look forward to
a lively professional exchange.
Sincerely,
Yours,
PD Dr. med. Linda Feldbrügge
PD Dr. med. Anna Saborowski
Prof. Dr. med. Moritz Schmelzle
Prof. Dr. med. Heiner Wedemeyer
Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Wirth
Open to anyone interested.
