Dear colleagues,
we would like to welcome you to our kidney transplant conference in March 2026 this year.
After the transplant figures, this time the focus will be on immunosuppressants. Despite their central importance for the long-term success of kidney transplantation, relevant aspects of interactions, dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring are often not consistently taken into account in everyday clinical practice.
This can not only lead to undesirable side effects, but in the worst case can also jeopardize the function and survival of the kidney transplant. We are therefore all the more pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Stefan Reuter, senior physician and head of kidney transplantation at Münster University Hospital, who is a proven expert in this field.
He will report on current strategies, typical pitfalls and proven concepts in dealing with immunosuppressants in a practical manner and provide space for discussion.
