The medical care of patients cannot be learned exclusively from theory or simulation. Practical experience and clinical assessments form the basis of many of our treatment concepts. The task of the practical instructors is to give the students an insight into the professional activities in anaesthesia care and to accompany the theory-practice transfer. This is done in close cooperation with the "Training Academy for Nursing"

As part of their training, prospective emergency paramedics have to complete several clinical training phases. Our department coordinates these clinical assignments. We also provide practical training in the field of anesthesia and intensive care medicine. In order to guarantee a high level of teaching success for the trainees, we assign the trainees

• Johanniter-Akademie Niedersachsen/Bremen
• DRK Rescue School Lower Saxony
• Hanover Fire Brigade

We do not train paramedics due to capacity constraints.
