We treat all patients in our outpatient pain clinic, irrespective of the funding provider.

Prior registration is essential for treatment.

You can make an appointment Monday to Thursday between 09:00 and 14:00 and Friday between 09:00 and 13:00 by calling our office (Tel.: 0511 532 3108).

A referral is required for patients with health insurance. This can be issued by any physician.

Please bring your insurance card with you to this appointment.

Please bring any letters, test results and findings you have that may be relevant to your medical history with you to this appointment.

Please allow sufficient time for your first appointment. This time is necessary to complete a standardized pain questionnaire and for our detailed questioning and examination. Various treatment approaches and solutions will be discussed in a joint consultation and the most suitable for you will be initiated.

The acute pain service offers comprehensive pain medicine care for all inpatients at the Medical School.

This can only be done by the physicians treating you. Please coordinate this with your treatment team on the ward.
