Dr. Simon Krooss was awarded the "Best Poster Presentation Award" in the "Immune-medicated & Cholestatic Diseases - Basic" section for his work "In viva adenine base editing reverts C282Y in an HFE -mouse model and improves iron metabolism". The prize was awarded during the congress of the EASL - The European Association for the Study of the Liver and is endowed with 300€.

Dr. Anika Wranke was awarded the "Best Poster Presentation Award" in the "Viral Hepatitis - Clinical" category for her paper "Long-term outcome of hepatitis delta in different regions worldwide results of the hepatitis delta international network (HDIN)". The award was also presented during the congress of the EASL - The European Association for the Study of the Liver and is endowed with €300. As Dr. Wranke was unable to attend, the prize was accepted by Dr. Petra Dörge.
