Member of the Bundestag Adis Ahmetović (SPD) on a visit

On May 27, 2025, Adis Ahmetović, Member of the Bundestag from Hanover, visited our Clinical Department. In conversation with Prof. Dr. Heiner Wedemeyer and Prof. Dr. Benjamin Maasoumy, he learned about the Clinical Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Infectious Diseases and Endocrinology. In particular, the latest developments and advances in transplant medicine were discussed, highlighting the special role of Hannover Medical School. The MHH is regarded as one of the leading transplant centers in Germany and has decades of excellence and experience in transplant medicine and transplant research.

As a deputy member of the Health Committee, Mr. Ahmetović was very interested in the opportunities and challenges in this area and was informed about the latest developments and progress. We are delighted with Mr. Ahmetović's interest and hope that this visit will help to further improve our good cooperation.
